According to the Public Relations Office of Iran’s Organization of Student Affairs, citing the University of Gilan, a specialized meeting was hosted by the University of Gilan to introduce the capacities of the province’s universities. The meeting was attended by Engineer Hamed Ahmadipour, the official responsible for international student recruitment institutions at Iran’s Organization of Student Affairs, along with relevant institutions and licensed companies.
The meeting aimed to foster maximum synergy in leveraging the educational capacities and infrastructure of Gilan province’s universities for the targeted recruitment of international students.
The educational and research capabilities, infrastructure, academic programmes, and specialized services available to international students at Gilan Province’s universities were also presented. Participants discussed ways to expand cooperation between universities and companies active in international student recruitment, streamline admission procedures, improve the quality of services, and broaden academic diplomacy.
The representative of Iran’s Organization of Student Affairs outlined the Organization’s policies and programmes and underscored the need for greater synergy between universities and the private sector in Iran’s academia in order to increase Gilan Province’s share in attracting international students.
