The Scientific Attaché and the President of Iranian Students in East Asian countries, Australia, and New Zealand attended a Yalda Night ceremony at the University of Malaya (UM) in Malaysia.

According to the Public Relations Office of the Student Affairs Organization, Dr. Alireza Tavakolpour, the Scientific Attaché and Head of Iranian Students in East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, participated in the Yalda Night event held at the University of Malaya. The ceremony was organized with the support of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kuala Lumpur and Iran’s Cultural Attaché.
During the event, Dr. Tavakolpour met with Iranian students at the university and listened to their concerns regarding the follow-up of requests and various needs. He emphasized that the Office of the Scientific Attaché is fully prepared to support students in different areas.
The Yalda Night celebration featured Iranian music performances and folkloric shows specifically arranged for students. In addition, invited speakers delivered informative talks on the history of Yalda Night and traditional Iranian music.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Tavakolpour encouraged students to maintain closer contact with the Office of the Scientific Attaché and assured them of his support in addressing their issues and concerns.
