According to the Public Relations Office of the Student Affairs Organization, Dr. Abdulaziz Hassan Taha, Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan, presented key points regarding scientific and educational cooperation between Sudan and the Islamic Republic of Iran on the sidelines of his meeting with the President of the Student Affairs Organization.
Expressing his appreciation to Iran’s Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology and other officials of the Organization, he stated that opportunities for academic collaboration, scholarship programs, and student exchanges between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.
He added that after the war, many of Sudan’s infrastructure systems have suffered damage, and they hope that appropriate frameworks will be established so that more academic scholarships can be offered to Sudanese students.
The Sudanese Ambassador emphasized that the meeting was fruitful and productive, and he expressed gratitude to Iran’s Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology and other officials for creating favorable conditions for scholarships. He also thanked them for facilitating the education of Sudanese students currently studying in Iran.
Dr. Taha highlighted the high quality of universities and higher education in the Islamic Republic of Iran and noted: “We are very eager for Sudanese students to travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran, complete their higher education, and benefit from the academic resources available in Iranian universities. The Sudanese students who are currently studying in Iran are conveying very positive feedback to their compatriots.”
